CPA Charged with Embezzling over $1 Million from Employer via a Shell Company

Darrell Pike from Hesperia California plead guilt to one count of mail fraud and charged in May 2022. Sentencing scheduled for Feb 2023.  Pike was the GM of a California supply service company that was based out of Wilmington Mass.  During the spam of the scheme, Pike prepared and submitted fake invoices through a shell company acting as a temp agency or staffing company. Pike approved the invoices with his initials for payment which resulted in a financial loss of $1.27 million to a bank account in which he controlled.
